These Terms govern your use of the Platform made available by Currently Tech Private Limited ("Currently", "Company", "we", "us" and "our"), a private company registered under the laws of India. Our registered office is at 406, C block PNTC, Times Of India Press Rd, Vejalpur, Ahmedabad, Gujarat 380015. The words "you" and "your" mean you, the user of the Platform.
Read these Terms together with the Currently Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Platform.
Our Services and these Terms follow Indian law, including the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, along with their amendments and rules. When you create an account or use the Platform, you accept these Terms.
We only claim to follow Indian law. We do not promise that we follow the laws of any other country. If you use Currently from outside India, please make sure your local laws allow it.

We do not read any other information stored on your device without your permission. You can control these permissions from your phone settings at any time. However, some features will not work if you turn off the related permission. For example, you cannot post a Moment without camera access.

Sign up with your phone number and OTP. The app needs your camera to work. Contacts, location, and notifications make the full experience possible. You control all permissions.
Currently gives you a Camera feature to capture photos and videos in real time. This is the only way to post on Currently. You cannot upload old photos or videos from your gallery. This keeps everything on Currently real and current.
All content you capture and share is called a "Moment". Every Moment is subject to these Terms and the Currently Content and Community Guidelines. We may immediately remove any Moment that violates them.
Unlike stories on other apps, your Moments do not disappear after 24 hours. They stay on your profile unless you delete them or we remove them for violating our guidelines.
To see, you must show
Currently works on a simple principle: to see, you must show. If you do not post a Moment for 24 hours, your feed locks. You will not be able to see your friends' new Moments until you post one of your own. This keeps the community active and fair. Everyone shares, everyone sees.
We provide tags and activity badges to describe what you are doing in your Moment. You must tag your Moments honestly and correctly. Wrong or misleading tags may lead to removal of the Moment or penalties on rewards.

You can only post live from your camera. No gallery uploads. Your posts stay, they do not vanish. But if you stop posting for 24 hours, your feed locks until you post again. Tag your Moments honestly.
Hype is the primary way to react to Moments on Currently. When you Hype a Moment, you are cheering for what your friend is doing right now.
You can comment on Moments as per the audience settings of that Moment.
MomentSwipe lets you discover Moments from the community by swiping through them.
We may add, change, or remove reaction, comment, or discovery features at any time.

Hype is limited, so use it on things you genuinely love. Comment respectfully, you own what you write. Swipe through MomentSwipe to discover people, but no bots allowed anywhere.
Currently lets you chat one-to-one with your connections.
Violation of chat rules may lead to chat restrictions, account suspension, or reporting to authorities.

Chat is for talking with friends. No harassment, no spam, no illegal stuff. We do not read your chats normally, but reported chats can be reviewed. Remember, anyone can screenshot.

Make Plans with friends and join Events around you. Others in the Plan or Event can see you joined. Events run by outside organizers are their responsibility, not ours. Be smart and safe when you go out.

Post real moments, stay consistent, and earn coins, streaks, and rank. Coins are virtual until a withdrawal is approved. You cannot sell or transfer them. Cheat the system and you lose everything. The earning rules live in the app and can change.

Reach 500 coins, keep your account public and verified, and withdraw through bank transfer, vouchers, or products. Bank transfers have a 10% fee and take 5 to 7 working days. Tax rules apply. Fraud kills your coins and your account.

Notifications may reach you through push notifications, SMS, email, WhatsApp, or in-app messages, based on the contact details you provide and your settings.
You can manage or turn off activity and promotional notifications from your app settings or device settings. Transactional notifications cannot be turned off while you hold an account, as they are essential for security and service delivery.

We notify you about OTPs, orders, friends, streaks, and offers. You can switch off promotional and activity alerts anytime. Security and transaction alerts stay on because they protect you.
To provide our Services, we collect certain information such as your phone number, name, and gender, and additional information depending on the features you use (like location, delivery address, and bank details). Your information is stored securely on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform servers, and is therefore also subject to their respective privacy policies.
The Currently Privacy Policy explains in detail how we collect, use, share, and store your information, and your rights under law, including under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

A safe community needs everyone to do their part. In return for our Services, you make these commitments to us. You alone bear the costs and consequences of your actions on the Platform, including any violation of these Terms.
You do not have to use your real name, but you must give your correct phone number and gender. You must not pretend to be another person or their representative. If you run a parody account for comedy or satire, you must clearly say so in your Currently bio.
We work hard to keep the Platform secure, but no platform is fully immune to hacking or viruses. You must:
You are responsible for all content posted from any account linked to your phone number.
Creating multiple accounts, fake accounts, or accounts using someone else's identity is prohibited. This is especially important for coins, referrals, and rewards (Sections 13 to 17).
Your use of the Platform is governed by the Currently Content and Community Guidelines. If users report your content and it violates the Guidelines, we may remove it. Repeated violations may lead to account termination and a ban from registering again. To appeal a removal, write to support@currently.club.
You must not share content that is obscene, pornographic, harmful to minors, discriminatory, hate speech, incites violence, or violates any law of India. We may remove such content and may share your information with law enforcement authorities if we believe in good faith that it is necessary to:
We cannot be held responsible for actions done by or to you by any third party or user through the Platform.
You own your content. We claim no ownership over the Moments and other content you share. However, by posting content on Currently, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable, worldwide license to host, use, distribute, run, copy, publicly display, translate, and create derivative works from your content, consistent with your privacy and app settings.
You may delete your content or account at any time. However, content already shared with others may continue to appear on the Platform. See the Privacy Policy for how to control or delete your content.
You alone are responsible for what you post. We do not endorse any user content. Our logo appearing near your content does not mean we sponsor it. We are not responsible for any transactions you enter into with other users or advertisers.
If you use content created by us, we continue to own the intellectual property rights in it.
We are an intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. These Terms are published in accordance with Rule 3(1) of those Rules.
Our role is limited to providing a platform where users upload, share, and view content. We do not control what you or others do on or off the Platform and are not responsible for the consequences of such actions. We are not responsible for services offered by others, even if you access them through Currently. To the extent permitted by Indian law, we are not liable for loss of profits, revenue, information, or data, or for consequential, special, indirect, exemplary, punitive, or incidental damages, even if we knew they were possible. This includes when we delete your content or account.

If you tamper or attempt to tamper with our technology, we will terminate your account, ban you, and may report you to law enforcement and take legal action.

Use your real phone number. One account per person. Never share your OTP. Do not post illegal or harmful stuff. Your content is yours, but you give us free permission to show and use it on the Platform. Do not hack or misuse the app, or you will be banned and reported.
News and current affairs publishers using Currently must provide details of their Currently accounts to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, as required under applicable regulations.

Currently is free to use. To keep it free, we earn revenue through sponsored content and advertisements. For this, we may share data such as your username, profile picture, gender, and your usage and engagement patterns. We will not pay you any revenue share if you buy advertised products. We do not endorse or vouch for any advertised products. If we ever share sensitive personal information (as defined under applicable law), we will take your consent first.
We update the app regularly. You will need to install the latest version of the Currently app to keep using our Services.
We may use cookies, pixel tags, web beacons, device IDs, and similar technologies to collect and store information about your use of the Services and third-party websites. See the Currently Cookie Policy for details and your choices.
We may retain certain information about your use of the Platform. See the Currently Privacy Policy for details on collection, processing, storage, and use of your information.

Your rights and obligations under these Terms are personal to you. You cannot transfer them to anyone else without our consent. We may assign our rights and obligations to others, for example, in case of a merger or acquisition.
All disputes are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Ahmedabad have exclusive jurisdiction.

In no event shall we, our affiliates, successors, assigns, investors, directors, officers, employees, agents, service providers, or suppliers be liable for any special, incidental, punitive, direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from another user's breach of these Terms or from your use of or reliance on the Services or the Platform. This includes losses connected to Plans, Events, chats, third-party products, vouchers, or interactions with other users, online or offline.
If any exclusion above is held invalid and we become liable, our total liability shall not exceed the charges or amounts you paid to us for using the Platform or Services in the month before the date of the claim.

We do our best to monitor and assess risks for users, but we are not obligated to oversee, monitor, or moderate any Interactive Service. We exclude liability for any loss or damage arising from use of Interactive Services in violation of our content standards.
