Every option you'll see when you open the share sheet, decoded.
The share sheet layout
When you tap the share icon, a sheet slides up from the bottom with two rows of options:
Row 1 — In-app friends
A horizontal scroll of avatars showing your top friends and recent chats. Tap any avatar to send the moment directly to that person inside Currently. (See Send to a chat (in-app).)
Row 2 — External destinations
Five buttons across the bottom:
| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| Story | Posts the moment as your Instagram Story |
| Chat | Opens your most recent in-app chat to forward the moment |
| Share | Opens your phone's system share sheet (WhatsApp, SMS, Telegram, anywhere) |
| Copy | Copies a shareable link to your clipboard |
| Save | Saves the moment to your private saved list or downloads it to your phone |
Buttons you see depend on the moment. Not every button shows up on every moment. Close Friends moments and Private moments have a limited share sheet — usually only Save works. See Why some moments can't be shared for the full list of restrictions.
