What the green pill means, how streaks work, and the Joined By card.

The status pill

The green pill near your profile photo — for example Eating Now — shows what you're doing right at this moment. It updates automatically when you post a new moment.

• Eating Now — you posted an Eating moment recently
• Playing Cricket — you're at a Cricket plan or just posted from one
• Stalking — you're scrolling but haven't posted recently

Pill updates in real time. The pill changes the moment you post a new moment. If you stop posting for a while, it switches to Stalking — Currently's playful way of saying you're using the app without contributing.

Your streak

The fire chip shows your streak — the number of days in a row you've posted at least one moment. Skip a day and the streak resets to 1.

• 1-DAY — brand new, just started, or restarted today
• 87-DAY — almost three months unbroken
• 100-DAY and beyond — milestone streaks may unlock badges

What counts as a day? A streak day = posting at least one moment between midnight and 11:59 PM in your local time zone. One moment is enough — quality, length, or content doesn't matter for streak math.

Joined By

Right next to your streak, the Joined By {name} card shows the friend whose referral code you entered when you signed up. It's a permanent reminder of who brought you to Currently.

• If you didn't use a referral code at signup, the card may show Add Referral Code instead — tap it to add one and get your 100-coin bonus.
• Once added, the field stays as Joined By for life.

FAQs — Status, streak, and Joined By

Q. Can I hide my status pill?

A. Not directly — the pill is part of your profile. But you can change which activity it shows by posting a different moment, or it'll switch to Stalking if you stop posting.

Q. My streak says 1-DAY but I posted yesterday too. Why?

A. Time zones can be tricky — if you posted very late or very early, Currently may have counted it on a different day. Usually, posting once any time in the day keeps the streak alive.

Q. If I miss one day, can I get my streak back?

A. Streaks are strict — miss a day and you start over. We don't have streak freeze or recovery features yet. Post early in the day to be safe.

Q. What happens at 100 days?

A. Currently celebrates streak milestones — at 30, 60, 100, 365 days you may unlock badges, coin bonuses, or special profile flair. Keep posting!

Q. Can I add a referral code after signup?

A. Yes — if you didn't enter one during signup, tap Add Referral Code on your profile. You'll get 100 coins, and so will whoever's code you used.

Q. Can I change my Joined By to a different friend?

A. No. Once a referral is set, it's locked in. Only one referral per account.
