Privacy & Safety

How Do I Block or Report Someone?

Updated

Currently offers two distinct safety tools.

Blocking — Immediate Privacy Control

Blocking provides immediate privacy control — the blocked user cannot see your profile, Moments, or interact with you, and they won't be notified.

Access it via the menu (⋮) on any profile or Moment and select Block.

Reporting — Community Standards

Reporting helps maintain community standards by flagging rule violations like:

  • "Fake or misleading content"
  • "Harassment or abuse"
  • "Spam or promotions"
  • Other unsafe behavior

Submit reports through the same menu, selecting Report and choosing a reason.

Key Differences

Blocking stops interaction instantly and is entirely private.

Reporting triggers moderation review that may result in content removal, warnings, or account restrictions.

You can do both simultaneously — blocking protects you while reporting protects the community.

What You're Protected From

Neither action:

  • Notifies the other user
  • Affects your account streaks or coins
  • Penalizes your account

Good-faith reporting is always safe on the platform.
