Ghost Mode is a privacy feature in the Currently app that makes you completely invisible on the map. When activated:
- "Your location is not visible to anyone"
- "Your activity does not appear on the map"
- Even Close Friends cannot see you
How to Enable Ghost Mode
- Open the Currently app
- Navigate to the Map
- Access Map Settings
- Toggle Ghost Mode on
The change takes effect immediately.
What Ghost Mode Doesn't Affect
Ghost Mode only affects map visibility — your Moments still appear on your profile and in feeds based on your other privacy settings.
Ghost Mode does not impact:
- Streaks
- Badges
- Coins
- Rewards
When to Use It
You can toggle Ghost Mode on and off anytime, making it useful for:
- Temporary privacy needs
- Travel
- Browsing without location visibility
