Approving requests (Private plans)

If your plan is Private, requests show as a sheet labelled {N} Requested near the top of the screen.

  1. Tap the {N} Requested strip to expand the sheet.
  2. For each person, you'll see their name, bio, and two buttons: Accept (green) and Decline (gray).
  3. Tap Accept to add them to the plan, or Decline to reject the request.
  4. After processing, the request disappears from the list.

Declined requests are quiet. When you decline a request, the person doesn't get a clear "You were declined" push. They just don't appear in the joined list. This is intentional — to avoid awkwardness. They can still re-request later if they want.

Removing a member

  1. In the Joined list, find the person you want to remove.
  2. Tap the Remove button next to their name (red).
  3. Confirm. They're removed from the plan.

What happens when you remove someone. They're taken out of the joined count, removed from the plan group chat, and notified that they've been removed. They can re-request to join (Private) or rejoin (Public) unless you've blocked them.

Editing the plan

  1. Open the plan.
  2. Tap the edit icon (pencil) at the top-right of the plan banner.
  3. The same form you used to create opens, with all fields filled in.
  4. Change what you want and tap Save changes.
  5. Everyone who joined gets a notification about what changed.

Deleting the plan

  1. On the plan, tap the trash icon (red) at the top-right.
  2. A confirmation appears: "Delete this plan? This will notify everyone who joined."
  3. Tap Delete to confirm.
  4. Plan is gone. Everyone gets a "{Plan} cancelled" push.

Deletion is permanent. Once deleted, a plan can't be recovered — including the group chat. If you just want to pause it (e.g., postponing), edit the date instead.

FAQs — Managing as organizer

Q. If I edit the time, will my plan show in the new feed location?

A. Yes — Currently re-sorts your plan in everyone's feed when you edit the time.

Q. Can someone else become the organizer if I leave?

A. Not currently — the organizer is fixed for the life of the plan. If you need to step down, delete the plan and ask the new organizer to create it.

Q. If I remove someone, can I add them back?

A. They can rejoin a Public plan instantly. For Private plans, you'll need to invite them again or accept their re-request.

Q. Will the joined list show people who declined or didn't respond?

A. No. The Joined list only shows confirmed members. Pending requests live in the Requested sheet.

Q. How long does a plan stay visible after the time has passed?

A. A few hours after the scheduled time, plans archive automatically. They no longer appear in feeds, but you can find them in your Profile → Past Plans.
