Pick what you're planning to do, then refine it.
Start a new plan
- Tap Create your plan on the Plans tab — or the + button in the bottom nav and pick Plan.
- The Planning screen opens with an activity grid.
Pick your activity (Step 1 of 2)
The activity picker has two layers — pick a broad activity, then refine it.
Layer 1: Broad activity
Tap one of the activity tiles, like Attending, Baking, Celebrating, Cleaning, Doing, Drinking, Eating, Enjoying, Playing, Watching, etc. The tile turns green when selected.
Layer 2: Refine it
After picking the broad activity, the screen shifts to the Activity detail view with sub-options. For example, if you picked Attending, you'll see: College, Wedding, Concert, Engagement, Class, Event, Live Event, Meeting, Party, School, Sunburn, etc.
Pick one — or tap Add custom activity at the bottom to type your own (e.g., Function).
Good activity examples.
Watching - Movie(going to a movie),Playing - Cricket(sports together),Eating - Brunch(meal together),Attending - Concert(going to a show),Celebrating - Birthday(party). The two-word combination keeps plans scannable.
Confirm your activity
After picking, you'll see a Selected: {activity} - {detail} confirmation strip near the bottom (e.g., Selected: Playing - Cricket). Tap Confirm to lock the activity and move to the next step.
Searching for an activity
Don't want to scroll the grid? Use the search bar at the top and type a keyword like Cric — Currently surfaces matches across all categories: Cricket under Playing, Cricket under Watching, etc. Tap to pick.
FAQs — Activity picker
Q. My activity isn't in the list. What do I do?
A. Tap Add custom activity at the bottom of the sub-list and type your own. It'll show up in your plan exactly the way you typed it (e.g., Doing - Karaoke).
Q. Can I plan more than one activity at the same time?
A. Each plan has one activity tag — but plans can be flexible in real life. Tag the main thing (e.g., Eating - Dinner) and use the description to mention the rest (Then we'll head to a club).
Q. Why does Currently force me to pick an activity?
A. It's how plans get sorted, searched, and shown to the right people. A plan tagged Playing - Cricket is seen by cricket fans nearby; a Watching - Movie plan reaches movie buffs. The tag does the discovery work.
Q. Can I edit the activity later?
A. Yes — open the plan and tap the activity tag at the top. The picker re-opens.
