Entering a referral code

If a friend invited you, enter their code to earn 100 coins for both of you.

How to enter a referral code

  1. On the Enter refer code screen, type the code your friend shared with you (usually 8 characters, like M5KURQDS).
  2. Codes are not case-sensitive — m5kurqds works the same as M5KURQDS.
  3. Once you've typed a valid code, the Yes, Let me in! → button turns green.
  4. Tap it to apply the code and continue.

Don't have a code? No problem. Tap Skip in the top-right corner to continue without one. You can always invite friends and earn coins later from your profile.

How coins work

  • You get 100 coins when you enter a valid friend's code.
  • Your friend gets 100 coins too, as a thank-you for inviting you.
  • 100 coins = ₹10 in value (this is shown on the screen).
  • Coins can be used for in-app rewards, perks, and features.

FAQs — Referral code

Q. Where do I find my friend's referral code?

A. Your friend can find it in their profile under Invite Friends or Refer & Earn. They'll share it as a code or as a link like currently.club/r/M5KURQDS.

Q. I clicked a referral link to install the app. Do I still need to type the code?

A. Usually not — if you installed the app from a referral link, the code is filled in for you automatically. Just tap Yes, Let me in! →.

Q. Can I add a referral code after signup?

A. Referral codes can only be added during signup. If you skipped, you won't be able to claim the bonus, but you can still invite friends and earn coins yourself.

Q. My friend's code says it's invalid. Why?

A. A few possible reasons: (1) the code was typed wrong — check it again, (2) it's expired or has been deactivated, or (3) the code wasn't valid in the first place. Ask your friend to share their current code.

Q. How long until I see my coins?

A. Coins are added to your wallet immediately after you tap Yes, Let me in!. Check your profile to see your balance.

Q. Can I get a code from anyone, or only friends?

A. Any valid Currently user's code works. But it should be from someone you actually know — once you join, your friend will see they invited you.

Q. What can I do with my coins?

A. Coins unlock features, perks, and rewards inside Currently. Visit the Coins section in your profile to see what's available.
