Long-press to open the menu
- Long-press any comment (yours or someone else's) in the thread.
- A small action menu appears with options.
- The options change depending on whether the comment is yours, someone else's, and whether you're the moment's poster.

| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
| Reply | Start a reply to your own comment (yes, you can reply to yourself). |

Options on OTHERS' comments (when you're the moment's poster)
| Option | What it does |
|---|---|

| Delete | Remove the comment from your moment. Only the moment's poster can delete others' comments. |
Options on OTHERS' comments (when you're NOT the poster)
| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
| Reply | Reply to the comment. |
| Report | Report the comment if it's inappropriate. |
About pinning. Pinning is a great way to highlight a funny reply, helpful info, or a great comment from a friend. It also subtly tells everyone, "Hey, this is the one I want you to read." Pinned comments stay at the top of the thread and are tagged with a pin icon.
Deleting your comment
- Long-press your comment.
- Tap Delete (red text).
- The comment is removed instantly. Replies under it stay but get re-parented or marked as [deleted].
Deletion is permanent. Once you delete a comment, it's gone. There's no undo. If others have already reacted to your comment, those reactions are lost too.
FAQs — Managing comments
Q. Can I edit my comment instead of deleting it?
A. No — there's no edit option for comments. If you made a typo or want to change wording, you'll need to delete and re-post.
Q. Can I pin more than one comment on my moment?
A. No, just one. Pinning a new comment automatically unpins the previous one.
Q. Can someone else pin a comment on my moment?
A. No. Only you, the moment's poster, can pin or unpin a comment on your post.
Q. If I delete someone's comment from my moment, do they know?
A. They don't get a notification, but if they revisit the moment, their comment will be missing. We don't reveal who deleted it. Repeated removals can feel hostile, so use this carefully.
Q. Can I delete my own reply but keep the parent comment?
A. Yes — replies are independent. Long-press the reply and delete it without affecting the parent comment.
