How Do I Report a User or a Moment?

Updated

The Currently platform allows users to report problematic content or accounts through a straightforward process. According to the help documentation, "If you see content or behavior that feels wrong, you can report it easily."

What to Report

Users should flag content involving harassment, fake accounts, spam, impersonation, or violations of community guidelines. The platform states that "If something feels unsafe or dishonest, it's okay to report it."

Reporting Process

For moments, open the content, tap the menu icon, select Report, choose a reason, and submit. The same steps apply to reporting users — access their profile, tap the menu, select Report, choose your reason, and submit.

After You Report

The moderation team reviews submissions and takes action if guidelines are violated. Potential responses include content removal, coin reversal, warnings, or account restrictions.

Your Privacy

Reports are completely anonymous. "The reported user will not see your identity," and there's no retaliation mechanism. Additionally, "Reporting does not affect your streak" or coins, so users face no penalties for reporting in good faith.

Blocking and Reporting

Users can simultaneously report someone and block them — blocking prevents interaction while reporting helps the broader community.
