The Currently app allows you to control your visibility by choosing between a public or private account setting.

Public Account

A public account makes you discoverable. "Anyone can view your profile" and "Your Moments can be seen by people beyond your followers." This works well if you want broad visibility and community engagement.

Private Account

With a private account, access becomes restricted. "Only approved followers can view your profile" and "Follow requests require your approval." This option suits those preferring a curated audience.

Changing Your Setting

Adjust your visibility through: Profile → Settings → Account Visibility, then select your preference. The change activates immediately, and you can switch between options anytime without penalties.

Important Distinctions

Account visibility differs from Moment-level privacy controls. Your profile visibility determines who sees your profile itself, while individual Moments have separate privacy settings (Public, Close Friends, or Private). "Even on a public account, Private Moments remain visible only to you."

Rewards Unaffected

Changing account visibility doesn't impact streaks, badges, coins, or withdrawals — these depend on activity level rather than privacy status.
