Currently offers two distinct options for users who wish to stop using the platform.

Deactivation — Temporary

Deactivation is the temporary choice. When you deactivate, "Your profile becomes hidden from other users" and your activity disappears from the platform, but your account information remains in the system. You can reactivate anytime by logging back in.

Permanent Deletion — Irreversible

Permanent deletion is irreversible. Your profile, personal information, and content are completely removed from the platform. However, the service notes that "Some limited information may be retained temporarily for legal, fraud prevention, security, or regulatory compliance."

How to Delete

To delete your account, navigate to Profile → Settings → Account Settings → Delete Account within the Currently app, then confirm your request. You may need to verify your identity.

Important

The company emphasizes that "Once an account is permanently deleted, it cannot be recovered." For this reason, they recommend deactivating instead if you think you might return later.
