FAQs — Followers, Following, Requests
Q. Why doesn't anyone need to approve me when I follow them?
A. Most accounts on Currently are public — anyone can follow without approval. Only private accounts have an approval gate; their requests show up in your Requested tab until they accept.
Q. Can I make my account private?
A. Yes — go to Settings → Privacy & Safety → Account → Private Account. New followers will need to be approved by you. Existing followers stay.
Q. If I cancel a follow request, will they know?
A. They won't get a notification when you cancel — but if they were going to approve and now there's nothing to approve, they may notice the request disappear.
Q. How do I find specific friends in long lists?
A. Use the search bar at the top of any tab. Type a name, partial name, or username — the list filters as you type.
Q. If I remove a follower, can they re-follow me?
A. Yes — removing them just kicks them off the list, doesn't block them. They can follow again unless you've actually blocked them.
