After you tap Create plan
As soon as your plan is created, the Invite Friends sheet slides up. It shows:
- Header — {Your name} will Plan: {activity} (e.g., Vipin will Plan: Watching Movie)
- Plan summary card — title, time, location, banner image
- Share row — four icons: Insta, Story, More, Copy
- Big green CTA — Invite Friends to Join
Sharing options

In-app invites
Tapping Invite Friends to Join opens a list of your followers. Tap any name (or multiple names) to invite. Each gets a notification: "{You} invited you to {plan}." They can tap directly into the plan from the notification.
Invites vs Public plans. Invites work for both Public and Private plans. For Public plans, an invite is a fast track — your friend just taps and joins. For Private plans, an invite still requires your approval (or pre-approves them automatically — depends on settings).
Re-inviting after creation
Forgot someone? Open the plan anytime and tap the share icon at the bottom-left. The same Invite Friends flow opens.
FAQs — Inviting friends
Q. Can I invite people who don't use Currently?
A. Yes — share the link via WhatsApp, SMS, or Insta. They'll be prompted to install Currently to see the plan. Once installed, the link takes them straight to your plan.
Q. My friend says they didn't get the invite. What now?
A. Either Currently's notification was muted, or they declined. Tap share on the plan and resend. Or just tell them the plan name — they can search for it on Currently.
Q. Can I invite a whole group at once?
A. In the in-app invite list, tap multiple names. They all get the invite. For external sharing, Insta and WhatsApp let you forward to a group chat.
Q. If I share to my Story, who sees it?
A. Whoever follows you on Instagram. Anyone interested can tap the link in the Story to open the plan.
Q. Can I uninvite someone?
A. If they haven't joined yet, no — the invite link is shareable. If they already joined, see Managing your plan as the organizer — you can remove members.
